Obsessions

Obsession or compulsions come in many forms and often get linked with addictions or eating disorders. Some say they suffer from an ‘addiction' to chocolate or other foods and others can't stop over-eating. For different reasons many suffer from eating disorders such as bulimia and anorexia.

Some are inappropriately drawn to certain behaviour or obsessions which can include obsessive cleaning and tidiness, repetitive routines (OCD's), phobias, people obsessions (stalking), jealousy, inappropriate sex, fetishes, body-piercing, etc.

At the Peel Clinic we look at the origins of the behaviour and also deal with the behavioural and psychological aspects of the condition. Our therapists have all experienced life and offer a sympathetic non-judgemental approach.
