Phobias

Phobias seem to be an increasing problem in the Western world. Experts are not sure why but suspect it is a combination or our busy stressful lives and our upbringing.

There is a huge range of phobias, which include a fear of heights, flying, water, open spaces, crowded places, lifts, going over bridges, travelling in boats, spiders, rodents, dogs, buttons, cotton wool, dentists, hospitals, sex and many more.

Often during therapy the origins can be traced (sometimes with the use of clinical hypnosis and or regression) and then the fear can be desensitised or re-framed (changed).

Treatments are typically quite quick often requiring only 2 or 3 sessions unless a particularly deep routed or complicated condition.
