Christopher Morgan-Locke

Christopher has a gentle, caring and non-judgmental approach that has led to an extremely high success rate. In addition to his work as a therapist he is an established writer and broadcaster.
Much of his success is due to his broad training which includes clinical hypnosis, counselling and psychotherapy.He majored in clinical hypnosis training with the LCCH which was based at Birkbeck College, University of London.The LCCH also train psychiatrists and doctors.
The British Medical Hypnotherapy Examination Board (BMHEB) awarded him a distinction for his diploma in medical hypnotherapy. The BMHEB consists of a board of psychiatrists chaired by a professor of psychiatry.
He has also trained in drug and alcohol counselling (Cognitive Reconstruction Therapy), EMDR therapy (a trauma psychotherapy), child loss/termination counselling (certificate in pregnancy advice) and a certificate in general counselling (NOC accredited). He has also worked for some years with victims of child abuse and those suffering with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
In additions to his work at a drug and alcohol centre in the nineties Christopher also ran psychology training courses for the Social Services, Home Office and Police on the psychology of addiction, child sexual abuse and stress.
Prior to this he worked for the Metropolitan Police (New Scotland Yard) and the NHS (mental health service). He is a former Trustee of a drug and alcohol charity and until November 2004 was the Vice Chairman of a national charity dealing with adult survivors of child abuse.
As a result of this broad experience over 25 years he has gained a substantial insight into human problems and how to resolve them.
He is an independent NHS-registered provider (code is 8FJ91) in the areas of Clinical Hypnosis (Hypnotherapy), EMDR Therapy, Counselling and NLP.
